I prefer the style and look of the Mazda 3 and 6... the Scion TC is okay, but just not my style...... the TC style kinda reminds me a little of the 2005 Echo, except it is 4-door. Ofcourse there is no comparison in performance. But, then again your interests are different than mine.

I loved the tC as well Honda Pilot, pricing is great for all that it offers. In the end my decision came down to how well it would handle a lot of snow, so I bought my Dakota. I still love Honda though and already terribly miss mine.

You're the first person I know of to actually praise the shifter.

They're selling fast as shit at my dealership. We sell em as soon as we get a VIN in the system and they're picked up as soon as the truck arrives; and we're the top-selling Scion dealer in the Central Atlantic region so we have the biggest allocation. Maybe in a less trendy area it would be a bit easier to get your hands on one.

After driving a 4th gen Accord for over a year I have come to enjoy having a good deal more torque than my old Integra. The tC, weighing at 3000 lbs, approximately the same as my Accord, but having 20 more tq and 20 more hp sounds like it will do nicely. Plus, one can always add the supercharger later if they get tired of the mediocre stock performance. I do like the look of the Mazda 3 a little better but they don't offer a 3-door hatch. Plus I want dealer installed under body neons. :db:

I meant that in regards to the fact its a relatively *short* throw compared to some of the other vehicles, like the Mazda 3. Whats your opinion of the 2 said vehicles? I know I'll want the tC with the supercharger option if I do purchase just FYI.

I agree, I like the styling of the Mazda 3, but 5-door hatches don't do anything for me at all. I too wish they had a 3-door which would actually be the logical evolution of my 93 Mazda 323.

***Talked it over with the rents, since they'll be aiding me in monthly payments, and they like the car, and agree that if I'm going to go FI, take it from factory with a nice warranty.

I really like them from what I've seen of them. And you can't beat the TRD products. Yeah, they're more money than you could get aftermarket, but for an item like a supercharger, you'll probably appreciate having the waranty. Plus, TRD stuff is OEM quality.

isnt that bad? if you want aftermarket parts, dont u want them to be better than OEM? like why bother buying an exedy oem clutch (if it performs the same as oem) when u can buy a honda one for 20 bucks less?

Generally, the majority of aftermarket companies product quality is less than OEM. Example: OEM tail lights vs. altezzas, OEM lips vs. aftermarket lips, etc. Certain highly reputable companies make products that are at (sometimes even above) OEM quality, but the majority don't even come close.

I guess it's got a short throw?

I'm used to my Miata's shifter which is one of the best shifters period, so I'm biased. The shifter in the tC feels just like the shifters in the Corolla, Celica and Matrix, none of which are particularly pleasing to me regardless of the length of the throws.

The last time I drove a Mazda 3 was in like March so it's not really fresh in my mind.
