Hydrolock Claimed my VW. CAI beware!
Which intake do you have?
My friend has the Neuspeed on his VR6... not sure if they call that "CAI" or not...

i just had an ebay knock-off. I can't complain, it was a great intake, before all of this mess.
Neuspeed has a variety of intakes, some extend down, other's don't... I guess it just depends on which one he has.
If the CAI runs all the way down to the wheelwell, then you might want to tell him what happenend to me. I just plan on either swiss-cheesing the stock airbox (along the side farther from the engine) or getting a little "cold-air box" type of setup that blocks off some of the engine heat. Just NO extending down.
If I ever hydrolock again... I better damn well be in 2 feet of water... not 6 inches.
