for those who have experienced the cheeck engine light after the aem cai install, did it come on right after the install or did it take several weeks? i installed an aem cai like last month and then the light started coming on recently. it doesn't stay on. instead it come on on cold starts and goes away after i turn off the car and restart engine. do u guys think its related to the aem cai or should i have my engine checked by a mechanic?

 

try resetting the ECU.

 

reset the ecu, if it comes back, check codes.

 

just check the codes now and see what's up. Then go from there. I've preached about this shiz before. Don't make me do it again. CHECK THE CODES, fix if needed, then reset.
