Default DVD Decoder

I have a optical DVD rom on my computer, now what do I need as software to run it? Divx from quicktime? what?

Just grab powerDVD or install Roxio 6.0 or later.

But in all reality your dvdrom should come with a dvd decoder program

OEM drives (barebone) do not come with software. He's right about WinDVD ...it's awesome.
