ok so i bought a magnavox home theater dvd thing..it sounds awesome but the dvd player does weird stuff.. ill be watchng a movie and the small parts of the screen distorts and gets pixley for a few frames. i switched the unit at circuit city and this one does the same thing. so i run my ps2 to the unit and watches dvds no problem. so i called magnavox and they say it could be my tv..until i mentioned it was a 3 month old magnavox tv.. there going to send a new one but does anyone know what the problem might be?

cliff notes:new dvd player distorts/ps2 running through dvd player doesnt(surprisingly)/ what can be causing this in the dvd player to malfunction?
