cops don't leave one ticket to write another, usually. I asked my dad once why some cops won't go after a speeder while they have someone else stopped with a lesser infraction. (He used to be a cop) He just said "Why leave one ticket you're already writing to chase after another you may not even get to"

 

Despite what many of you around here think, 90-95% of a Cop's day does not involve looking to find someone to pull over...its only a very small portion of all the things that the job requires you to do

 

some/most counties or cities have no-pursuit ruless..cops simply arent allowed to go after um....but even if they couldnt catch them, radios are still faster than 9 second bikes...

 

smarter > faster

 

more then often the cops in this town will flash their cherries and then let you be. its kind of a heads up just to be safe and we are watching kinda thing i like it. as long as ppl are being disturbed. they dont care if we go out in the the empty parking lots and sit there maybe do a couple burn outs or rev our engines we aren't in a residental or anything but if we rip down a residental street tires a blazin' they will pull you over i think it is how it should be
