Number one..I am NOT promoting ANYTHING. Secondly, you have brought up and continue to discuss street racing. My point is simply NASCAR has streyed to far from what it was intended to be and that racing is boring when all the driver does is drive.

But thats any form of racing... all the driver is meant to do is drive. You mentioned that taking your car and racing on the streets was the way to go and I simply pointed out the illegality of it.

First off let me set a few things straight....you asked him if he was comparing it to street racing and you asked him to go that direction....baiting is not cool for any reason.

Second of all I am sur 1992CivSi knows this but let me reiterate it here....street racing is dangerous and illegal. I think we all know this but I have to say it anyways

The discussion of street racing in an objective manner and with regards to other subjects is not against the TOS, however the discussing of "I raced a [insert car] down 58th street" is against the TOS.

Again let me state that baiting a person into saying something or a subject matter is not in any way a mark against that person and is not a fair tactic to use at all.

Thank you and if this subject can return to an on course productive conversation I will leave it open...if not then it will be closed without prejudice.

Don't you find it unfair that most cars have to start in the back of the line?

in nebraska, nascar is too high class for the rednecks i hang out with. so are marlboros and budweiser. here its all about imca modifieds, liggets and pbr. my red neck friends say that nascar is for the wannabe redneck clan member, they say they are poseours. they say the true trash love the round and round we go. their words not mine. these rednecks are really pretty nice people, even though they dont have the right to bear arms or vote anymore, so to each his own i say.

Street racing is ghey, if you want to race get into the honda challenge. Otherwise your just a racer wantabe, and risking a lot of peoples lives. Plus your most likely racing kids who don't even know how to drive. Racing in a straight line shouldn't even be considered racing. Atleast do some auto-x.

:slap: Street racing isn't ghey... I actually think the Speed World challenge race on the streets of DC was once of the best races ever.
