Never said I was better than anyone. I said the racing would be awesome if they DID.

 

But it can't... I worked on a race team for 3 years and trust me if a driver had to do all the work he/she would go nuts. When you look at big name racing there is more to it than meets the eye. We all think its simple, but when you start looking at F1 cars and other cars they are enough electronics in there that it would take a rocket scientisit to figure out. Thats why the driver just drives the car, the electonics guy figures out all the little glitches, the body guy does the repairs and so on.

 

Why don't they just add some right turns? Maybe I would watch it then.

 

You are right that it is more than meets the eye. I totally agree with you there. BUT...the reason they CAN NOT do it is because so many rules and stipulations have been placed on the cars that it takes dedicated teams to keep them up.

Yes because without rules you'd end up having mayhem. Racing is CONTROLLED to prevent disasters. I don't think I'd want to hear about another death in motorsports, there is a good reason why spectators aren't allowed to storm the track after a race. Back in the day it was cool until people realized that someone will end up getting hurt.
