Your wrong jack***. Lets get some things straight..first of all, yeah 3 wide is pretty freaky...but anybody that has ever watched ANY NASCAR knows that is a once in a race event . Secondly, I never said it would not scare the piss out of me. Never done it so I can not say it would or wouldn't. Thirdly, my point is that NASCAR has totally taken REAL world elemnts out of racing.

 

I will insert a warning that if this degrades into a name calling thread it wil be closed.

This is not a personal attack so do not make it one.

 

So I guess in your vein F1 is boring since the margin of victory is on average 20 - 30 seconds and for the last 5 years its been all red.

Axemansean...anything that takes away from the driver doing the work on his car bores my. As for F!, that would be BadA** IF the drivers built their cars, or atleast did anything other than justr drive. Racing is MORE than just driving.

 

And my post applied to them as much as it does to anyone else in this thread.

nASCAR threads always seem to turn out this way so at some point it degrades to name calling since no one is mature enough to have this discussion without talking trash...my post is not excluded although I tend to make fun more often of the sanctioning body rather than the observers.

 

I guess it comes down to two sides... people who watch racing for the pure thrill of watching cars and drivers put their skills to the limit. And the others who watch certain things and complain about the rest. I may bash Nascar but every Sunday I watch the race because I know I am never gonna have those skillsets. I watch everything from Kart stars of tomorrow to semi truck racing. To me I'd rather get my rush watching it and racing go karts whenever I can than doing it on the streets and endangering lives.
