Yes FL houses are cheap for the most part. that is if you enjoy living near swamp lands ehhehe j/k (sort of)

I considered relocating to FL once. I would have been able to buy a house and pay it off in 3-4 years. Well it wouldn't have been a big house, just 1500sq/ft.

A nice new custom home (3000sq/ft) would have been under $300K with nearly all upgrades that was 2 years ago.

if you live in crestview, you can build a 1500 sq ft homes, which is quite large for $106,000, 2000 sq ft for $120,000 and 3000 sq ft for about $130,000

fort walton beach is pretty much built, so if you find a house over 1500, you're probably going to pay out the ass for it. anything under 1500 is usuallay priced around $100,000 - $120,000 depending on location. Anything near water jacks the price up another $100,000- NO JOKE.

My brother and my sis in law together make close to $110k a year and they can't even imagine spending $10k to buy a USED SUV even though they desperately need one. Guess having priorities like owning a house, furnishing said house, etc is more important than owning a fancy automobile.

Not being judgemental, but from your posts you appear to have your priorities messed up. But hey who am I to say anything.
wtf? if i had a chance to get an s2000, i'd get it for my own pleasure, not to show it off to others. some people are smarter than you think :slap:

how do you know if her priorities are ****ed up? i'm assuming you dont know what her house or her complete financial situation is like. am i right?

stop being an ass cuz you'd spend whatever extra money you have differently

It was deserved IMO. He's making assumptions about something he knows nothing about...i.e. their financial status.

Seriously, who gives a fawk. Her life. Nice car, enjoy it, the end.

Oh yes, orlando is hella expensive because of Disney being there. Even Gainesville (hour away) for a nice size apartment it is $700 a month 2bed/2bath and thats a college town.
