rota shatters at 20mph

Yea, I hit a curb goin like 5 and bent my stock rim. So he is surprised? Not many spoked wheels could withstand that force considering it initially hit on the spokes.

Well it must be Rota's fault because of all that stuff floating around the internet about Rotas breaking for no reason.

When you choose a lightweight wheel you give up structural rigidity most of the time. Any wheel would have been bent beyond repair in the same accident, sucks everything else got bent/broken too though.

lol I've hit a curb at ~40mph and barely bent a rota and didn't bent the control arms at all. I did bent a control arm and destroy a stock wheel with a 15mph hit though (a big arse pothole). The angle of impact seems to have a huge effect on how much damage there is in my experience (which makes sense).

true...there are no details as to the angle of impact.
