Bent lower control arm and upper control arm ($70 to fix)
In the pics the bent control arm is on top.

I was coming up the hill to turn left, crested the hill turned the wheel to the left, and the corner was way off camber, so when I went to hit the brakes there was really nothing to grab due to it being off camber, they locked up and the wheel was cranked all the way to the left and it just slid until I hit the curb. And I wasnt cornering at 25mph I hit the brakes before the turn going 25 they locked up and I slid into the curb, by the time I hit the curb my car had only turned about 60 degrees rather than the 90 needed to clear the corner and the wheel was turned all the way to the left. The skid marks start way before the corner.
Oh and AGAIN, Im not bashing Rota, Ive seen a pair of Focals do this as well, but it kind of sucks comparing Rotas to Focals. All I said was that Im going to write them, to see if they have had a problem with this wheel, because it is a new design and a new texture, which leads me to believe it might even be new materials to Rota. I just wanna check, Im not blaming the wheel for breaking, Im actually happy it broke it saved me some money and car downtime.
And I wasnt cornering at 25mph I hit the brakes before the turn going 25 they locked up and I slid into the curb, by the time I hit the curb my car had only turned about 60 degrees rather than the 90 needed to clear the corner and the wheel was turned all the way to the left. Seems to me curbing at 20 is pretty fast and I would expect just about any rim to fold at that speed or better...aside from steel rims I don't know a single rim that would remotely look right after that.
