dude, you don't know what your talking about. They have been trying to get Andy to sign with whatever it took. The only thing that would have gotten him to sign would have been to make the NY Yankess the Texas Yankees.

As for their fam system they have a bunch of prospects who are really good. I guess you don't really know that much about them. That being the case don't make these bold statements h:

Actually, it's you that doesn't seem to know much. The Yankees had a 15 day grace period where they solely could sign Andy, and they didn't. Nor did they try to pursue him anywhere near as much as the astros did. Throwing money at the situation once again wasn't the answer. They didn't let him know how much he meant to the team. And as for that "amazing" farm system, give me some names! The last good prospect they had was Branden Clausen, and idiot Steinbrener traded him for Boone.....just to spite the Red Sox. And if you think 37 year old Kevin Brown is the solution, you've been dropped on your head as a child. You seem like a fair weather fan, so I'll stop there. :nono:

 

They went after him and let him know how much he was meant to the team. he had a different adjenda. Were you in his shoes and know exactly what the Yanks did to get him? I think not. First off I made this thread wishing Andy the best of luck. If I was a fair weathr fan I would be writing the Yankees off right now. I bleed Yankee Pinstripe blue so don't go making your idiotic statements about me being a fairweather fan. I have always been a fan. I am one of the only people I know who loved the Yankees, even in the 80's when they sucked ass. I didn't care. I was always there in the stands watching them. Even if I was only joined by 19,000 other fans and had to watch players like Jessie Barfield and Mell Hall play. But what would you know. You probably have no freaken clue who they are. :madfawk:

 

I see your update to your post. I never said Kevin brown was the answer but he is one of the options they have. Don't put words in my mouth. Reading is your friend. Try doing it sometime. Oh and when people assume things all they do is show that their an ass so I would lay off the assumptions

 

Drew Henson you say? Who was supposed to be ready to take over 3rd base 3 years ago but still isn't ready? And is most likely headed to the NFL? That leaves your 1 other example, Eric Almonte......1....which isn't a few...its one. That's not gonna cut it. I'm only 21, but I was raised a Yankee fan. I was a fan when a guy named Mike Gallego was playing short, so you can stop with that. If you can't see they're headed down the wrong path, there's something wrong with you. h:
