Actually, it's you that doesn't seem to know much. The Yankees had a 15 day grace period where they solely could sign Andy, and they didn't. Nor did they try to pursue him anywhere near as much as the astros did. Throwing money at the situation once again wasn't the answer. They didn't let him know how much he meant to the team. And as for that "amazing" farm system, give me some names! The last good prospect they had was Branden Clausen, and idiot Steinbrener traded him for Boone.....just to spite the Red Sox. I see your update to your post. I never said Kevin brown was the answer but he is one of the options they have. Don't put words in my mouth. Reading is your friend. Try doing it sometime. Oh and when people assume things all they do is show that their an ass so I would lay off the assumptions
