Comp peeps.... is it possible
IP bonding? bah. just install a modem, doesn't even need to be an internal modem.
windows will try and use a dialup before lan.
Do keep in mind that blocking access to IM services has been a goal of many many companies and IT departments. They are very good at it. They are also probably logging what attempts there are.

If you have a Broadband at home, and if you run windows 2000 server or windows xp at home you can install terminal services and connect to your home computer from work.. Then you can use all you want as if you were at home.

Do you know your Home IP address?
Thats all you need. If you are running windows 2000 at home you can open your home's desktop by using IE. Yes your Admins can login all you are visiting so they will know you have a connection to your IP. They will only see it as if you were visiting a webpage since it will use Port 80. If you are using cable then you might not wanna do port 80 do port 8080 instead. They won't be able to see what you are doing b/c evertything you send to your home computer get encrypted:thumbup:

and..
Yes

Coooooooooooooooooooool.
So.. instead of entering, say... www.fhsdkjfhsdkjfhskdjfhsd.com
I just enter the IP address... I gotcha.. I gotcha...
sweeeet
I'll have to try that after I get back from break.
Would Active X have to be enabled on either comp? Or it doesn't even use that.
Just curious cause it sounds like the desk top sharing feature I used to use when training people on web conferencing software.
:ugh: That means other people can do that shit, too.
:nervous:

Well if somebody else knows your Ip and visits the link. windows will prompt for their login credentials like if you were login in tto your local computer. So you will be the only one who can use it.
Im not sure about the Active X. I don't think it uses it on either computer.
Now I know Win2k server has that feature so you can access your computer using the IE brwoser. Im not sure about Xp but I bet you can do that too since it uses the same protocol.
Anyway if you need any help let me know
