I'm not moving out till I buy a house and I know I'm ready to afford it. Fawk paying rent every month and having nothing to show for it.

I just tease because I was in the same situation as you before I started working at my current job. Times were hard back then, plus I was in a relationship for the majority of the time I was at my old job, sucked not having money to go out all the time. h:

the only difference between living at home with your parents, or living with a partner is your parents are blood, you HAVE to put up with their shit. i dont miss it. i still talk to them daily, thats enough.

Im 19 and have a very good job. I am fully licensed and sell insurance. I rent a 4 bedroom house with three friends, have a cell phone, pay insurance for 2 cars, 2 car payments. Sometimes i get low on cash like right now my engine just blew up in my integra but i make enough to slowly invest in both my cars. It does take time. You just have to look around and find good used parts for sale and buy the parts cheap. I got my almost new zex kit for 350. The cars have definetly slowed down since i moved out but its just about how you want to spend your money. I would rather buy car parts then go grocery shopping and just go to my parents to eat. I pay all my bills first and then the rest goes to the cars.

No one ever saved money staying at home with their folks, thats a farce. the sooner you buy the better you are.

how do you start a family without a baby?

def of a family = a mother + father + a baby/child.

:werd: I get along great with my family. I help out around the house doing the yardwork and just random tasks that need to be done. I help take care of their cars if there is a problem and i pay for a portion of the food bill. I have no real urge to move out and be broke just to have a place of my own. I am only "home" to sleep at night and weekends. working 8am-4pm then 5-10pm weekdays doesnt leave alot of free time
