i think this also has to do with your location...i'm 21 but i still live at home...why?? cuz if you make minimum wage and move out you will not survive where i live...i think at all those other states where houses and rent doesn't cost as much as in the "big city" you'll look like a bitch if you stay home over a certain age but here in southern california it can be tolerated cuz everyone understands the circumstances...

there is no way in **** one person can live on his own on minimum wage. now the Cost of living here is high, not near as high as socal, not as high as chicago, buts not as low as MOST of the areas south of the mason dixon. the only place min wage is going to get you an apt is in bum **** idaho, oklahoma, i dunno, ****ing mexico? there is 120,000 a year coming into this house, and around here that is a LOT of money. it aint enough, things are kinda tight.

i have a well paying job,..paid for BOTH my civics with my own money,..both are modded with my own money,..i ditn want my mom buying me a car so i told her not to buy me one,..reason being is because she would probably buy me some old busted joint,...so i think i was one of very few kids to actually say "mom i dont want you to buy me a car" ive lived on my own,...i actually had my own condo/townhome ,..i just watched what i spent,...and doing your own labor saves a GANGLOAD of money

I haven't done anything to my car in a couple years. My money now is spent on concert tickets, cds, and what I owe my parents. I don't feel like I have time for it anymore since I work all the time. Maybe I'll start back up again when I come into more money, but not right now. I'm trying to go to as many shows as I can before I get too old for them.

This is why I'm putting off major engine work. I can't afford it, and I can't afford a beater to tool around with while the car is getting worked on.

My car isn't even payed off...

And as of right now.. I'm actually behind on my car (In terms of what I've done.)
I had it astheticially pleasing to me. Tsunami lip and grill, painted side skirts, and splashguards. But shit happens... I ****ed up my lip and stock bumper on some ice, so I was forced to put a white Tsunami bumper on my car (I had bought it off someone.. but decided I didn't like it.. was gonna sell it.. then THAT happened) So... that's attached in the most ghetto rigged way... it squeeks... and it's been spraypainted black because I couldn't stand the white anymore. I got into an accident where I was hit from behind and pushed into another car. The Tsunami bumper withstood, but my back bumper now has the letters of the liscence plate of the woman who hit me. And the insurance check came as soon as I lost my job... so.. it had to be used for bills. I hit a tree stump that was out of my vison while camping so that cracked my back bumper, and put a nice dent right next to the left side of my left light, and totaly destroyed the little panal undernath the light. (fortunatly the light is a-o-k) I hit a sign that my town decided to put smack dab infront of where people would be turning. (thin sign... I looked left, I looked right, by the time I turned, it was too late) So that put a nice scratch and small dent in my hood. My interior needs to be done.. but I haven't had the time to buy what I need. I have 3 different tire brands on my car. It's filthy as ****.

The only thing I like on it right now are my headlights, wheels, and seats. But.. a CF hood is in the works.. so. :happysad: It's a small restart. And.. I found a good deal on painted stock bumpers... so... soon. :happysad:
My car is very much in a ghetto stage right now.. and it upsets me very much.. because, since it looks like that.. I get discouraged.. and don't really feel like taking care of it. :wtc:
