Just to point something out: most of the time I am at the polar opposite end of the spectrum from DVPGSR and Blackmagik. The fact that we for some reason agree here is that while we have different political views we all have a healthy degree of skepticism for the world at large.

You can rant all you want about how fortune telling is somehow based in reality but to us it just ain't. I can't speak for them on religious views but at least in my experience I understand that faith-based logic is not compatible with fact-based logic and I don't try and combine the two. Since you are speaking about something that is faith-based, you will never convince anyone that does not also have faith in what you are talking about, unless they make that leap and start having faith in it.

Sorry you happened to be the recipient of the unusual triple-team of Blackmagik, MrFatBooty, and DVPGSR. It was not planned that we all would agree on something, it just happened.

animals are effected by the moon.

menstral cycles last 28 days, like a lunar cycle.

babes come out after 9 months.

yeah, the moon has no effect on us.... is it that radical of an idea?

dude, let it go... unless you can come up with something other than coincidence as a basis for an argument, there's no point in it.. i'm not gonna be convinced...

also.. menstrual cycles also adjust to match other females in the group.. is that because of the moon?

secondly, there's also 3 planets we've discovered since then.

third, one of the "planets" is indeed our own sun.

and fourth, there's a rather infinite amount of constilliations. Again, you pick something apart enough, nothing will make sense.

The sun does not enter the constellation of Aries the same day it did 2000 years ago. Look up something called 'precession.'

Second, there are 18 constellations in the current zodiac, not 12.

You are incorrectly referring to asterisms as constellations.

I don't know how to post it on here for review but it basically implies more negative then positives things about my personality. It may represent qualitys which I choose to overlook, however it is rather disappointing to read that type of thing. It is not all that bad but it could have something cool in it.

I don't want to be or have fixed ideas. I don't read to much into it, all of yours which were posted were very upbeat.

Did anyone try to do theirs at the sight I have added as an additional resource? Did you like that sight.

In the Chinese horoscope it has some neat stuff about the year you were born. We did this at work and everyone thought theirs were very close to their personality's. I can understand the barnyard animal parts but when it starts talking about wood, metal and other stuff like that I get lost. I think that I am a Rabbit. I am glad I am not a Dog. Dog sounds so unattractive.

Why are all of you disagreeing so much on horoscopes and history/science elements? You know seems like all the post I try to part take in everyone disagrees.

Menstrel cycles are adjusted around my friends and I, just as it was speculated here on this site. My friends and I adjust to this very easily, it also happens to me at work. If I stress alot mine will be late, sometimes for weeks, but after the stress factor is gone I am back to being OTR with friends and coworkers. I wonder if serious hormones are pouring out (a clear cloud of womanism engulfing all who are near). Whew!!! Dudes watch out you will get estroginized.

Thanks for all the comments on horoscopes-They can be fun.

Fucking weak. Absolutly fucking weak.

thats absolutly fine. I'm not here to convince anyone. Regardless, I feel theres a bunch of people in this thread giving their opinions on something they know little to nothing about.

fucking weak.

well, maybe there might be some correlation to the events in human history and the positions of the constilations. And the fact that we are progressivly becomming less and less spiritual, and more and more pragmatic. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with pragmatism, but to me its cold. Then again, I'm a raging idealist, so hey....

regardless, I don't think it can be argued that people arn't as fearful of God as they used to, and everything related.

point is, I don't care how much your science discredits my myth. I rather beleive in it than nothing. Besides, astrology opened my eyes to human interaction on a few levels.

whatever....

Second, there are 18 constellations in the current zodiac, not 12.

again, science defeating myth. But again, I'm still happy with my myth. It's worked for me.

regardless, zodiac goes beyond simple constillations.

there's the four signs, fire water air and earth. They each occur 3 times in the year (aries/leo/sag each start off the respected times). There's more to reading a simple profile about a cancer, or leo, or whatever. The reason those profiles even exist is based on the traites of water signs vs. air signs vs. fire signs vs. earth signs, or even mutable signs vs. fixed signs vs. cardnal signs.

and an example. Take the three fire signs. Although they're all fire, its not that simple. Aries is a firey fire. Like lightning or something. Leo is an ary fire. And sag is a watery fire. Weird? sure, but again, its not that simple. Its something you'd actually have to look into.

but whatever....

dude, you have done absolutly nothing of any use in this thread. Why the fuck should I listen to you?

fucking john madden over here with the sideline commentry. way to fucking go.

you know, I don't give two shit whay any of you beleive. If posting in this forum has proven anything to me, its that people are A) so insecure with ideas that unless its flawless, its not right, and B) that trying to hold any intellectual conversation on the net regarding religion/politics/whatever is the most largest waste of time I've ever delt with. Am I mad? sure, I haven't smoked a cigarette in a few hours, i'm stessed out from life in general, I haven't heard from my girlfriend in a week, and I'm in the process of dropping the dope addiction I suffer from. But the fact is, I'm just giving my opinion. In the anti-war threads, again, my opinion. Do I think the masses are retarded? Fuck yeah. Do I think most opinions are retarded? even more so.

I just like to think different. whatever.

I'm done with this ontopic forum bullshit. A bunch of people who know a 10th of the truth trying to argue who's veiw is better when we're all looking at the same god damn thing. and whats worse, none of us can do a damn thing about any of this shit.

good day.

seems like you're the one arguing about things you know nothing about, going on about menstrual cycles and the moon, and basing an argument on coincidence. come up with some facts to support your arguments or let it go. oh, that's right, you can't use facts to support any of your arguments. everything you babble on about is based on "what you heard from billybob down at the corner store". i think you did say it best.. fucking weak...
