it boggles the mind as to see how nokia can make phones with such good reception as compared to SE whe nthey both have internal antennas.

I guess I made it sound worst than it actually is. To me, the problem with an SE phone is that places where you would only get one bar of reception with a Nokia, you would get no reception with the SE phone. Plus it fluctuates too much.

It's like the SE phone doesn't bother to hold onto the reception unless it's at least two bars.

But like the beav said, the less things obstructing the antenna, the better.

thats a good point. my mom's samsung holds its receptio strength pretty strongly and consistently, while my SE changes from 1 bar to 4 then abck to one in a matter of a few feet of distance.

well because if you make the antenna external, its larger and could have better reception. but my nokia 3650 has better reception then my old motorola T720i
so its really the phone itself

beav: i can tell you my price, but i cant buy an AT&T phone without activating it :wiggle:

randomtask: same applies.. i think the only bluetooth handset we have right now is the S-E T616 for cingular.. there might be some AT&T ones that are but im not sure off the top of my head. :thinking:

but i already have service i just thinking about going to gsm and gettin a nice small phone at the same time

Nah, not the phone, but a headset. It's a wireless earpiece. But it's cool though. Thanks for the heads up.
