Might want to consider that one. Throw a SSD in it and beast mode.

I'm not that familiar with that AMD processor series, but I've always had better luck with AMD over intel. I don't think the deal will last for long. I had a configured quad core hp with 6 gb ram (upped it to 8) and it was a flat out performer. Pushed it out on a 23" 1080p monitor and it worked beautifully. I used it for gaming.

The price is great but I'm a little apprehensive.. HP is like the KIA of the computer world.

Adorama Camera, on eBay

This is killer for $600. It'll need an SSD though.

Try to fit that into any configuration from HP, Dell, or Apple and you'll see what happens to the price.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find someone willing to pick and ship.. unless you can find the time? If not, no biggie. Newegg is charging $90 more for this proc.

just start grabbing the essentials... power supply, ram, HD...

leave anything that fluxuates month by month for the last of the purchases...

Unless you are looking at SSD's, you should be able to get your power, case, ram, hard disk(s), mobo(?) without commiting on a finished product.

Last things would be the processor and the video card... unless your using an all in fucked over gpu.

But if you find a good deal, grab that shit.
