I'm not that familiar with that AMD processor series, but I've always had better luck with AMD over intel. I don't think the deal will last for long. I had a configured quad core hp with 6 gb ram (upped it to 8) and it was a flat out performer. Pushed it out on a 23" 1080p monitor and it worked beautifully. I used it for gaming.
