Bird $#!^....which wipes?
I am forced to park in a spot at work where there is a wire overhead where the pidgons seem to like to do thier thing. i want to get one of those wipe packs so i can remove it as soon as i leave work, but don't know what to get. None of them specify for use on the exterior paint surface. I know mothers makes wipes specifically for bird crap and tar, but none of the other brands i've looked at even mention using on paint let alone for the purpose of removing crap and tar etc. And i haven't found the mothers wipes anywhere locally. So what wipes are available most anywhere that carries car products that are made for this purpose, if any?

or cut the wire?
maybe make a sheet that has toothpicks sticking out of it and then put that on top of the wire so they wont land.
How high is the wire?

On a brighter note, while not really a solution, i found crap on the hood after work today as usual. But after waxing my car this weekend and putting a triple coat on the hood, the crap just came right off like an egg in a teflon pan and didn't leave any mark at all. Just a dab of water on a terry and it's gone. would be nice tho to have a can of wipes that would work well and not strip the wax or hurt the finish in any way. If mothers makes them i would think someone else would. If not i suppose i'll just keep a small spray bottle of water and a terry in the glove box and keep the hood well waxed.

Wire is way too high with no way to get to it. Plus the power company would freak !

Buy some quick detail spray. Soak bird crap really well. The more the better. Let it soak for 30 seconds. Then take a tissue and pick up as much as you can. Respay and keep picking it up. Once "MOST" of it is gone give one more spray and wipe with a Microfiber towel. You dont want to wipe the whole thing up at one time. It will scratch the paint.

I'm going to try and keep triple waxing the hood every couple weeks and do a full job every couple months. But when the new car excitment wears off, who knows
