Default help me de-rice interior?

The previous owner of my 96 EX painted some of the interior pieces silver If anyone here owns a 6th gen and has any of the pictured pices they are looking to sell (or give away) that are unmodified, please PM me or reply to this post:

I've already searched the for sale forum as well as ebay...if you don't have the pieces yourself, then I would also appreciate any links you could provide to someone who IS selling them.

I would ask that the admin leave this post in the civic/del sol/el forum and not move it for a couple days until I have some responses. Reason being it gets more attention here, and 6th gen owners might not see it if I post in the wanted forum. After a little while feel free.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If I cannot find the stock pieces, i too will be forced to paint the ones I have. I'm going to go with something much more stock-looking though.... I went to a junk yard already and they guy wanted $15 for those two little vent pieces, gimme a break!

take the interior pieces off and dip em in regular dot3 brake fluid. sounds weird but it works. it wont eat the plastic yet strips the paint away. may require a bit of scrubbin but its worth it and so you wont have to buy the peices.

The side pocket should be easy to paint. If you know how to take off your door panels, you should be able to take off those pockets and paint them back to black (or if you have the time, remove the paint that is on there now). The reason why I would rather remove the paint as opposed to painting it black it because that is a high wear and tear area. Throwing stuff in that pocket might end up chipping the black paint.

For the gauge bezel, you're probably better off getting a new one at the wrecking yard. Pull out the old piece and put in the new one. That simple.

I have a gauge trim surround that has some missing clips, but it still holds in good and isn't broken or cracked. PM me and I'll see what I can do...

Thanks man I'll try that. You can buy it at like Advanced AutoParts right?
