This thread is retarded. On all shootouts between AP1 & AP2, the numbers were very similar. VERY similar. To novice drivers, like the 99% of us in here, it's not going to make any difference at all. Like blkturbos2k said, neither is a "stronger" motor. They've both got strengths and weaknesses.
To the thread starter - just get the newest one, in the best shape that's within your budget. Whether it is an AP1 or 2, you can't go wrong.
rich - my friend just traded in his 02 G35c for an 05 S2k, also. Funny to see how you guys are all converting!
But the G35 is still an awesome car. Z's are sweet, too. Wouldn't mind having either one.
