SRS light on
i just got done putting my interior back together but this light is still lit on the dash. i installed 2 sets of boston accoustic rally 6.5 components and an alpine mvr - 440 (i think that's the model number, it's rated at 4 X 90 watts). when i took the seats out, i disconnected the sensors below the seats, and reconnected them after i was done. but the darn srs light won't turn off. anyone else have this problem?
on a side note. i'm tearing the interior out again this weekend to install a kicker L7 15" and an alpine mrv-m1000. my wife thinks i'm crazy for installing this thing. i put a L7 10" in her 4runner and it pounds ass, it's only powered by a kicker DX350. i can't wait to hear what this thing sounds like.
one more thing, i wanted to put some pics of the install i did, because it came out fantastic, but my computer at home took a beating because of the sasser virus. anyone know how to fix that problem? my computer just says non-system or disc error. the computer is a gateway 700s. it's less then 2 years old and still has lots of life in it, i hope. can anyone help me save that thing?

I know this works on an RSX (had the same problem myself when I pulled my passenger seat, and turned the car on.
1st..turn off the ignition and remove the MES connector(green or yellow plug with 2 wires in the underdash fuse box)and connect your paperclip between the two wires(insert one side deep and the otherside loosely)
2nd..Turn ignition on, SRS light will come on for about 6 seconds then shut off
3rd..disconnect the paperclip within 4 seconds of the light shutting off. SRS light will come back on.
4th..reconnect the paperclip within 4 seconds of the light coming on, SRS light will go off.
5th..disconnect your paperclip within 4 seconds, SRS light will indicate memory has been reset by blinking 2 times.
6th..Turn vehicle off and wait 10 seconds. Start vehicle, SRS light should come on and then go off as normal.
If it doesn't work the first time, keep trying. Timing is the key here.

Hey! Bought a used '02 Honda Odyssey LX about 2 weeks ago, installed a CD player in-dash and the SRS light came on. This paperclip fix worked for me. The MES connector on my Odyssey is yellow, has 2 blue wires coming out of it. You will find it plugged in the underdash fuse box on driver's side.
