how hard is it/much does it cost to swap an H22 head onto a H23? does it really make it a 2.3 liter H22? Would I have to get a new computer to handle VTEC?

here's the water injection sight

Aquamist Water Injection

As for a boosted h22, i tried to run one a while ago and he didn't want to, it was a 5gen turbo, i think it would be a good race

oh yeah, i lowered the compression because you can up the boost more reliable with lower compression, if i didn't put to thicker headgasket, i would have to keep boost below 8psi

yeah, but i'd rather go with higher compression/lower boost for street setups...i've had 8:1 CR with 20psi and i've had 9.5:1 with 15 psi and the 9.5:1 CR/15psi was a better street setup.....not that it was faster, because that was a 13 second car, whereas the other setup netted me high 12's.....but more streetable....taking off in rain when you have no low end power than all of a sudden, BOOST, is annyoing....i'm about to try out a 10.6cr/low boost setting on my stock internal h22a....was gonna wait, but nah....might as well play now.....but aquamist is the company that designed my injection kit for the 2.3 turbo ford...nice setup

not easy and not worth it...if you already have a good h22a head and a good h23 block, but not complete motors, then go for it...but it won't make more hp than a stock h22a, and probably less.....but there are issues with the h23 block...it's not equipped with oil squirters, which helps longevity on the h22a when it's revved past 7Krpm or whatever......not sure how much abuse the h23 block can take when revved to where the h22a head needs to be......a real h22a would be better

boosting 15+psi is really high for me with stock internals.

with the lower C/R and aquamist i am looking to run about 12-14 daily on the street.
i currently run 9psi

powerband is very user friendly in wet and dry

H22 with low boost is ok, but what is your low boost ###???

6-8 psi IMO would be low for the stock h22, 9-11psi you will need to lower compression for a better reliability
