I believe he mentioned he does is not into moding the car. He wanted a stock reliable car. His goal was to fine a sporty / fun car / good looks w/o serious modding.
It also sounds like hes leaning towards a prelude then integra ls (he posted in prelude section).
Coming from a previous ls owner, my friend owns a prelude h23. His car was quicker hands down. But when we were purchasing his car.. with a budget of 5,500... it was very hard to find a prelude in good condition whereas the integra ls, there was an abundence and we could be very selective of which one to get.
Integra: is lighter with better handling, enough power to have fun and great daily driver. The tranny is made for daily driver w/ great gas millage (not such a great thing if your going for performence). Keep it stock looking and no one will steal it.
Prelude
bviously you like how it looks better and will probably feel better buying this car. (i know because i was in the same dilemma, i was shopping for both cars and deep inside my heart, it said integra. My friend wanted prelude, it's a great feeling). the stock engine pulls harder then ls. you'll be paying 91 octane gas, your heavier and have bigger displacement.
And so, i say go for the prelude, you like the looks and it's unique. Good luck purchasing.
