Default Tyre Offset

Hi all, just been reading the forum albout Tyre Offset and boy im confused, I have a Base 00 Lude and want to get 17 x 7 with 215/40. Do I need to do anything with the offset.

Please Help

Guess what, just because thats the way its spelled in the states does'nt mean it can't be spell another way and still be correct. Why do you have to be such a jerk. I'm just looking for some help. FYI its spelled TYRE in Australia we adopted the british spell>

you're looking for an offset between +45mm to +48mm.

and Tyre is an entirely appropriate spelling. if that's how they spell it in JGTC/WRC/F1 pits, i'm inclined to believe that's how the name of a car part is accurately spelled.
