Default Offset of same rims can vary?

Hello, im interested in purchasing 18" Racing Hart Z5000 rims. I want 45mm offset for those rims, but im not sure if they make them in 45 offset. Will i be able to choose the offset i want? or do the rims come in just 1 offset that i will have to be stuck with? Thanks.

Usually a rim in made in only one offset. You can get the inside shaved 3mm or so, but might as well just buy the right size. I was in the same position as you when I got my wheels. I wanted 45, most were 42. I chose my wheels based on the price and 45 offset, and I thought they looked decent enough.

Maybe upscale wheel companies...like tuner companies will make same wheel in diff offset, but probably not ones that will fit on a 4cyl Accord anyway.

So you ended up buying the 45 offset rims? I personally wouldnt mind any offset as long as i dont rub at all with 1.5 inch drop. What is the difference between 45 and 42 anyways, all i know is that the bigger the offset, u get no rub.

Most Rh wheels are gonna be a 42 offset if they are 18s. That's what I have and I don't have any rubbing issues at all, but I'm only dropped 1.25 inches, so that could be one of the reasons. Overall, I'd try to get at least a 45 offset to be safe, but you can get away with 42 if you don't have an aggressive drop.

Yeah, I got 45, but I'm sure you'll be fine with 42. That's probably what most people have with 18" wheels on Accords.

More than likely it will. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Are you dropped at all? 40 is probably gonna rub, a +42 offset is cutting it REAL close, 40 may be pushing it.

for those rh evo wheels, most 18s come in the 7.5" width with a 42 offset. some of the 19s come in a 44 offset and the 7.5" width. this is the lowest offset you can go with for 7.5" wide wheels, and have some rubbing...anything lower will cause more frequent rubbing. also don't go wider than 225/40 on your 6th gen, but that is the right tire size. it's really up to the mfr to offer many offsets, but usually you don't see this unless you buy modular/multi-piece wheels.
