Good luck

ps. oh yeah, 5 speed is so much sweeter than any auto, ss or otherwise.

:a: all 5G ludes come with an h22a4 (DOHC VTEC)

that and it has a different tranny
with ATTS

supposedly means more drivetrain loss so its slower, also slightly (40lbs  ) heavier

No, it has the same tranny. Different front suspension and ATTS is it's own system. It stands for Active Torque Transfer System, and it uses hydraulic pressure to transfer torque from the wheel with the least to the wheel with the most.... It is NOT traction control, but I've heard it does work. I tried a Type SH when I was looking and didn't feel the 3k price difference was justafiable for return in performance. You have to really press it hard in the corners, and I guess it gives you rear wheel drive handling.

actually ATTS doesn't give you RWD-like handling, what it gives you is basically an electronic LSD. though, not really: ATTS only works when cornering and basically causes the outside wheel to spin 15% faster than the inside.

personally i would recommend a 5th gen base model, because you can do what ATTS does and more with an old fashioned Limited Slip Diff.

i have the base model - my friend has a sh - after he borrowed mine for a week he realized that that 3 thousand in price isnt needed - he sold his and got a base -

get the base - lower it - strut bars - sway bars - theres other things to do to handle your car for cheaper then 3 thousand (atts)

just dont spend it on cheap parts - im sick of lookin at preludes that have cheap things on em....
