y dont u spend a little...get him some JDM foglight...(that if he doesnt have it) if he does...than y not hella 4000 HID kits

 

she prob can't afford it, like most of us here. JDM fogs = 300 bucks, HID kits = 400-600...

i say get him a cold air intake from ebay ($30) and a strut tower bar. that should add up to around $60.

 

ok i looked on ebay and found a bunch of cold intakes. some were 175 dollars and some were 30-50.... does it matter that they aren't aem or something? one even looked plastic

 

...no it doesnt matter...., it all does the same thing! sucks in air--cold air. ... its the name ur paying for.

 

my neusped strut bar is made of steel and it does make difference. i have had a crx a integra and now a prelude and have swapped motors done suspensions in all cars and i know what parts make a nice difference sorry all you know is a ebay special.

 

spend the 100 bucks and get a better strut bar. it does make a difference. oh yah, aem cold air intakes are way better than 30 dollar cold air intakes also. spend the money

 

yeah so in a 3000 lb car, a 4lb piece of "steel" or "aluminum" is going to make a world of difference?

can you even explain to me what a STB is "supposed to do?"

and then once you do, explain how a strut tower bar seems remotely useful in a solid frame unibody coupe? also i'd like to know why you think a STB is "suspending" anything. i'd tell you more but i don't want to cheat you from your little research project i gave you.

once again, if neuspeed/spoon/mugen/DC STB's were 25 bucks, like they should be, i'd buy one. but there's no way in hell i'd pay more than that for a piece of metal that's there just to make you FEEL like the car is "handling" better.

Monkey is right, a strut bar is a strut bar. Simple as that, id get the ebay special. All your really paying for is the etched "DC Sports" or the yellow Neuspeed sticker. Buy an ebay special and slap on a Neuspeed sticker. Your $8 investment in a strut bar from ebay just made everyone of your friends think you bought a $110 strut bar.
