as far as the dispute... I'm with Boomer all the way. I haven't built quite as many H22's as him, but I have build boosted F22b, my h23a, and my current h22a. After you have a few H series engines under your belt, then you can come into our forums and talk all the bull$hit you want...until then:
get which ever CAI you think looks prettiest, b/c HP gains are gonna be slim to none...THATS BEING REALISTIC, PEOPLE!
full CAI = top end, SRI= low end tq...done

the mazdaspeed protege is an amazing car considering what it is. granted i'd probably choose a SRT-4 over it, the protege does handle amazingly well for a FF car. I'm not sure that it handles better than the DC-2R, which might be the greatest FF handling car, or greatest FF car EVER, but the protege is def no slouch.
the 3 looks fun, but i'm also not sure that it's the best small car out there. i still think i'd pay a couple thousand more, and get a WRX instead.

Why did you even have to throw that crap in there? The Accord may be faster in the straight line, but the 6 is the best handling family sedan out there...hands down.
As with your Prelude, it WAS the best handling front driver out there....until the MP3 and Mazdaspeed Protege came along. Best handling front drivers EVER made. Set factory slalom records. People drive different cars for different reasons. I couldn't tell you all the problems a co-worker of mine is having with his brand spanking Civic Si. He's had electrical and mechanical problems, been stuck on the side of the highway a few times, and has so many problems starting, he had to buy a portable booster pack. It's only 8 months old and he's selling it already to buy a 93 coupe.

I'm done arguing with your about apples and oranges, and matters of subjectivity.
Go do some research and take some physics classes. Great, you're good with your hands, and you can put things together(so do those old guys who work on big block chevys), but it doesn't mean you know the physics. I'll be back when I have my timeslips....

as far as the mp3 goes, the only thing i like about that car is the MP3 badge on the back

i have smoked a handful of them, most with mods like i/h/e etc.
and i am not impressed with its power at all.
not to mention all the mazdaspeeds and most of the mazdas in general already come with upgraded suspension and exhaust, etc.
mazda is just trying to re-kindle interest in their cars. i am also wholely confident that the accord would take it on the street/highway/off ramps etc.
the EP3 civi is not designed to be a straight line car, its desiged for handling, and it will absolutely house the mp3 in handling.
my friend has one with about 20k on it, hes had no issues even with adding mods like I/E
let me tell you it may be a mid to high 16's car stock, but the mods help alot, he is definitely in the 15 now, and i was somewhat impressed with that dropping a second with intake, and now the exhaust

gen1gt first off the itr would rape those forntwheels drive mazdas in handeling and speed and rx-8 equal wiht s2000 the rx-8 does 0-60 in 6 seconds i've seen numbers as low as a 4.9 in a stock s2000 so don't post crap without knwoing about it
i love the rx8 very nice car. made car and drivers ten best list and the motor won engine of the year, so lets not diss the rx8 go to english town and look at all the rotary powered cars they are faster than most all motor preludes out there. but i still love the s2000 thats my next car hell or high water i will get that car.

if u want to bring up turbo then i will gracefully bow out, since there is a good chance that any turbo rx7 u see on the road has some type of boost modding, since not many are still running stock (we all know how long the rotary's last)
also
whoever said the rx8 is already in the same league as the s2000 is smokin crack. if you havent driven the rx8 or at least raced one, then stfu. all this rx8 hype is magazine bs. yea it won awards but mazda overrated the freakin HP. not to mention that car was the most hyped car ive ever seen in my life, the thing was still a prototype and they are dancing around with 240 horses on paper. i think it only made 238 once it hit the crank dyno.
the protege5is a POS and it is ass slow, good lord.
i laugh everytime i see one on the road.

all this drag racing co*ck measuring is pretty retarded from where i stand.
Ok, first off i love my prelude and the power is fine for me (16 yrs old). the RX-8 im not a fan off, they have already recalled the engine on it and it is the 8 rotary engine made( RX= rotary xperimental.) and don't tell me u can't get torque outta hondas... ive seen BUILT drag civics runnings 8's in 1/4.
