of course Obama wasn't there, but secret service wants a secure area without having to worry about anything. that guy might be fine, but what if there is a crazy in there that See's it and tries to do something? they are protecting who might be the future president of the USA, the most powerful man in the world. and yes, his rights are greater then that mans. like it or not. presidents rights and safety, and the candidates are more then ours too. like it or not, that's the way it is.

Sure they can... they do it all the time. :dunno: They can't press charges without evidence, but they can detain and question someone for pretty much any reason they want. Not saying it's right, but it is a pretty common practice.
