Nah ~~~

NSX is more beautiful than GTO. The look is more sporty.

MR is what you are looking for ... Not FR ...

Personally, most people will pick NSX I think ...

Last wednesday there were two NSX's and numerous Vettes and I don't think there was one Vette that did not beat the two NSX's. I was disgusted because the best time of the night out of both NSX's was a 13.5+++. Call it driver or whatever but I was very disappointed in the NSX that night. My cousin ran neck and neck with an NSX in his EVO which usually runs about a 13.8 or so. I know it was probably driver because most of teh Vette guys are weekly visitors so they have experience and I have never seen the NSX's before but it still sucked to see $80,000.00 cars get ate by primered crx's and shit.

I think you must be such a fool to buy an american product
And BtW the NSX is Ferrari's little sister style and the Corvette is piece of crappy shit style. Also you are on honda-acura.net forums so why the hell would you promote a stupid american product dont say shits like the vettes are faster on the dragstrip do you go to the 1/4 mile everyday, no u just get your shiny car on the road and beat up some mustang/camaro/corvette and after you look at them smiling and think : My V6 owns those v8s ****tards and I got STYLE. (I hate the corvette style it's for rich granpas who wanna **** 14 years old girls with thier "look-at-me I'm cool" north american metal rolling thing.
.
Don't say i'm stupid cuz i wrote this it's my opinion and you can't say I'm wrong ..

Okay, first of all, don't get me wrong, I love NSX's and I would never personally own a Vette. Second, I go to the track every Wednesday and to many track days on the weekends. I can almost guarantee I have way more track experience than you do. Third, I do have a few shiny cars, but they are also relatively fast. I'm no punk kid ricer, I just prefer making a car fast to buying a car that's already fast. My point is that the two NSX's that have been at the track recently are slow. All excuses aside. My coupe would rape either one of them on any given week. It Just so happens that I have not been lucky enough to line up against them. Though I have ha dthe pleasure of being smoked by a few C5's. Styling aside, the new Vettes are fast. On any given wednesday there is at least 5-10 Vettes at the track all running mid 12's to low 11's. I'm just saying that the better styling of the NSX and the better handling does not make up for the $40,000.00 price difference IMO. Up until recently I had never seen an NSX at the drag strip and so to see one get beat by a stock Cobra convertable was hard. I hope these NSX's just have sucky drivers and I hope that one day an NSX with a good driver shows up to represent the Honda flagship. I have never driven an NSX so I don't know if it's a hard car to drive but anyway you look at it, an NSX with headers and a catback running 13.8's is sorry.

P.S.
Today is wednesday, I will post the exact times of the NSX's that run tonight. I can say one thing though, at least they are practicing. Also, I will try and find out what year models these care are.

You don't go to the track. You go to the dragstrip. And the NSX is not the best car for the dragstrip. There are a few cars out there that can beat it on the dragstrip, bone stock, and a bunch more that can be modified inexpensively to beat it. Claiming that your car is better than an NSX because it costs less to go faster on a dragstrip is like claiming that your car is better because you can fit four people in it and the NSX can only fit two; some cars are better at some things than other cars are. Just because a car is not best at one thing, does not mean that it isn't great at something else. Heck, a Miata is slow at the dragstrip, but great at autocross. And a Supra is fast at the dragstrip, but not at autocross. All of which doesn't prove anything. All are fun cars, some are better at some things than others, and dragstrip numbers aren't the only measure of a car's capabilities.

Put those same cars out on a real track, a road course, and leave them bone stock for an apples-to-apples comparison, and the results will be a whole lot different. Not that there aren't cars that can beat the NSX - there are a few, and one or two even cost less - but that is where the NSX really shines.

Do you know what a track day is? Drag strips don't have "track days". Yes I go to the drag strip but I also have been to plenty of open track days (road course events) and SCCA events. By no means am I even hinting to the fact that any of my cars are even close to the overall performance capabilities of an NSX or a Corvette. I'm just stating that it's very sad to such a superb machine run such shitty times. Lastly, I am very aware of what an NSX represents but to say it's better than a Vette is arogant in my opinion since it costs so much more.

I'm sorry but been honest now, 1/4 mile times mean nothing ... i mean .. any "Person" can switch gears and many of the "1/4 mile guys" go to auto after some heavy mods, of course you need to have some talent on the gearing matter but only at a "track" (not even oval) is where you see who drives and which car is really and overall performer, i mean ... driving staight?? I-95 at 110 120mph at night is almost the same ... in a race Track with turns and straight lanes or in wonderful tracks like laguna Seca is where you see real drivers and a real cars ... by the way,, the 2003 Type-S in japan (best motoring video) ran 12.7 BONE STOCK /// isn't good for some guys?? well .. try a Enzo or a Porsche GT .. those are mid 11's and high 11's .. 1 second difference and $400.00 extra at your balance ...

and for the NSX haters ... go to other forums .. not to NSX forums ... i never go to see stuff that i don't like, only if i like ,, or,,,,,,,, maybe you haters have some very very deep dream to own a NSX??

This was my 2 cents ,,,

I somewhat agree yet somewhat disagree. Yes most people can shift down the drag strip but can most people launch their car to max potential? That's pretty much a definite NO. I don't even know how many times i've gone to the track and seen people in civics/integras pull 2.4-2.8 second 60 foots and these guys are making 200-300 whp but don't have a clue how to get it off the line. On the contrary i NEVER see any civics/tegs on street tires hit 2.1 60 foots (I did a few times on 205/50/15 712's and stock firestones deflated to 20 psi).

In any case, drag racing does get boring after a whlie which is why i got a M3 which is arguably the best handling car around (car and driver rated it as the best handling car for ANY PRICE in the late 90s). I plan on doing some autoX and road racing with it cause i just find it more interesting and challenging. I had fun with the turbo civic/drag racing for a while and i never even got hardcore into it with only 8 psi boost and under 200 whp pulling mid 8 second 1/8 mile runs.

Also i don't care what you say, there's no way in hell anyone ran a high 12 in a stock TL-S if it's the same specs as the US. An automatic car that traps 98 at best would need something like a 1.4 60 foot to run a high 12. Also the newer model stock NSX's would rape as much ass as a base C5 anyday and come fairly close to a Z06 depending on driver. Cars that trap nearly 110 are not slow, exotic or otherwise.

He is talking about an NSX Type-S I think. I'm not hating on the NSX, I love it but it's all about opinion and I have stated mine so no love lost. But to insinuate that drag racing is easy is an assinine (sic) statement. Obviously you have not drag raced much.

Ohh...i was assuming he meant TL type S i was like WTF. Also i wasn't aware that there is still currnetly a NSX-S, i know there's a NSX-R. Either way i'd shit my pants to own either one of those cars.
