You don't go to the track. You go to the dragstrip. And the NSX is not the best car for the dragstrip. There are a few cars out there that can beat it on the dragstrip, bone stock, and a bunch more that can be modified inexpensively to beat it. Claiming that your car is better than an NSX because it costs less to go faster on a dragstrip is like claiming that your car is better because you can fit four people in it and the NSX can only fit two; some cars are better at some things than other cars are. Just because a car is not best at one thing, does not mean that it isn't great at something else. Heck, a Miata is slow at the dragstrip, but great at autocross. And a Supra is fast at the dragstrip, but not at autocross. All of which doesn't prove anything. All are fun cars, some are better at some things than others, and dragstrip numbers aren't the only measure of a car's capabilities.

Put those same cars out on a real track, a road course, and leave them bone stock for an apples-to-apples comparison, and the results will be a whole lot different. Not that there aren't cars that can beat the NSX - there are a few, and one or two even cost less - but that is where the NSX really shines.
