Well, now, don't loose your head, son. We still got a lot a boogie'n to do! The book is still out on how this thing will last. Yes, we all love the performance, like the style, and agree this is what GM has needed for the last, oh, 30 years. But the old reliability factor still waits to be seen.

ok , an aussie chiming in... hi !!!

We had a dyno day over here last weekend...

Al in his mean Black Monaro(heads/cam), with 19" GTS rims. (what a beauty) result 435HP at the rear wheels... (slightly milder cam and idles extremely well.)

this thing in real life is verging on pornographic

Cool! Welcome to HAN, and I think we're gonna have a lot of questions for you about this car. So, what's the reliability record of the Monaro? Have there been many recalls, TSBs, etc? And long term durability, do you know if people have the car well over 100k miles without significant problems? In other words, any info on the Monaro you may have we'd love for you to share with us.

Welcome to HAN, how did you find us?

Like fastball said, please give us any info you can on the Monaro.

That is one beautiful car. Those rims go perfect with it

435 horses at the wheels is mighty impressive with just cams and a head...those LS1's have some power. Glad to have an Aussie aboard

I talked to my local Pontiac dealer (Talarico) and they said they're only going to get six of them per year.

You always question something, regardless.

I talked to the sales manager who's a good friend of mine. Low production cars are given to dealerships based on their size (total sales). Talarico is freakin' enormous....they get 3 Corvettes per year.

Six seems entirely plausible.

That makes all the difference in the world. That dealership is too iny to matter.
