all i've heard is from word of mouth, people saying that holden's are pieces of shit. maybe they used to be but aren't anymore, i really have no idea. thats why i said that i have absolutely no idea if its true or not..

The GTO is a profoundly modern expression of the original performance legend. Distinctive Pontiac Design cues are expressed through a signature dual port grille...
hahahahaha... bastards... "distinctive pontiac design cues, eh? the grille is the only thing besides the logo they could comment on. and even then its far from distinctive.

The GTO is the bold embodiment of Pontiac's new design direction
i love it... so much bullshit. so, first its not their design, of course they have to act like it is, but does this mean they're going to style the rest of their cars like holdens also?

well whatever. they have to talk out of their asses with this car. i just hope most people realize it isn't a GM design at all

the only thing i can say regarding the above is that pontiac would be wise to also employ holdens marketing team. Whats this Road to Redemption advertising business for GM U.S. ?

Compared to GM downunder Commercials - http://www.holden.com.au//images/sc1...monaro_tvc.mpg

SLP will have a performance package, with hood scoops, ala the classic GTO

Default Pontiac to add hood scoops on GTO

Automotive News / June 24, 2003

DETROIT -- The 2005 Pontiac GTO will be restyled to include hood scoops, General Motors sources said.

The 2004 model GTO, which does not have hood scoops, has prompted GTO fans to write letters to GM asking the automaker to bring back the scoops that were on the original 1964 GTO. The scoops enhanced the car's performance image.

Hood scoops force air into the engine. It is unclear if the scoops will be functional or decorative.

The new GTO is a rear-wheel-drive high-performance coupe with a 5.7-liter engine derived from the Chevrolet Corvette. Pontiac officials say the car's acceleration, handling and braking will be the best ever in a GTO.

cooo def will spice up the look a little bit
