Honda Develops World’s First Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive this fall in the Acura RL
Hopefully in the near future this AWD technology will trickly down to Acura's other offerings. This could potentially solve the problem of so much horsepower and torque in their FWD vehicles. Hopefully the TL will be the next in line to get the SH-AWD.

I said potential. I didn't say it would. But I am liking it very much. Seems like Honda is taking Acura into more performance oriented avenues.

Now just missing a midsize coupe... this whole thing about spinning off Acura versions of the CR-V or upcoming truck or other talk ... bleh. :eek3:

The trick at NYIAS (I've been there every year since 2001), at least for my camera, is to turn contrast up, flash down slightly, and leave the flash on all the time. The lighting SUCKS everywhere but the Crystal Palace in front.

ATTESA E-TS PRO adds a rear limited slip differential, which I think *might* be electronically controlled but I'm not sure.
SH-AWD on the other hand, is able to constantly vary the torque split between all four wheels. It can't send all the power to the rears like Nissan's setup, but it continuously varies the front/rear split from 70/30 to 30/70 and anywhere in between. It also can vary the torque split at each axle from 0/100 to 100/0 (left/right), independent of the other axle. So you could have like, a 30/70 torque split front/rear, 100% of the front torque sent to the front right wheel, and 100% of the rear torque sent to the left rear wheel, or any other combination in between.
