LS or GSR
im looking into buying an integra very soon and at one dealership they have a
1998 silver intergra LS w/ 66k and grey/blk leather.-13,559k
and a
1996 milano red gsr w/ 50k and blck cloth interior.-13,998k
these prices are horrific, but i dont have much time to keep looking. the gsr is a great base to start with since i have alot planned for whichever one i get. i couldnt go turbo with the ls due to lack of funds, but ls-vtec may be a possibility in the near future. any and all opinions are welcome.

just tell the dealership your not paying 13k for that car....bargin the price down its not that hard to do. And get the GSR unless your very serious about boosting the LS or making a hybrid of some kind.

I agree the prices are quite high, I would keep looking around.
LS vs GSR Depends on what you want out of your car.
If you are looking just for a daily driver, with no asperations of drag/autox/street speed, an RS/LS/GS is a great car.
It has more midrange than a GSR, making it more daily driver friendly. Insurance is less, and you don't need premium gas.
If you do want to race/drag/autox than a GSR is the right car. Oil coolers, stronger block, vtec, more HP and TQ above 6,000 rpm, better suspension out of the box, shorter gear ratios, etc

IF you do not have the funds for a turbo then stay away from the LS. It has more miles...and the GSR is so much more fun. If you are going to go with LS/VTEC anyway just get the VTEC engine to begin with. ALso I did not think LSs came in leather...are you sure it is not a GS? I could be wrong though.

Hmm, Milano red tends to turn pinkish after 7 or so years. I love black cars though. If you want a GS-R than look for a cheaper black one with black leather But the GS-R's insurance is gonna be close to twice as high. As for VTEC, don't go LS/VTEC, too many problems plus price of close to 2 grand, so if you want VTEC get the GS-R. If you want to turbo, get the LS. Personally, just my opinion though, get the LS. You'll save a lot on insurance plus money on gas, which could go towards a turbo. If you don't want a turbo yet you could still use the extra money for monthly mods on the LS.
