CAI aren't cost effective because it doesn't improve performance, well at least not by itself. If you buy it by itself then its just a waste of money.

I had my CAI in but I had to take it out because of warranty issues. It was a good thing too because without it I got 60 more miles to the tank. ANd I didn't notice a power loss at all, or any difference for that matter, except for the growl of the intake. THe only thing it does is make your car loud. ANd thats not a good thing when your smoking a blunt at night, and your the only car on the road.
My mpg went up with my cai, and I did notice a power gain with just a cai.

Just make your own. I did, and it's not much different than the AEM...really, the AEM just sounds better.

BTW, don't even bother with the bypass valve, it's worthless.

I just bought my GSR on Friday and already installed a AEM V2. This is my first Integra that I have owned but the V2 made a noticeable difference.

AEM V2. It's an intake that has a larger size filter and a doublewalled construction that they claim to have an energizing effect on the airflow through resonances. Personally, I call :bs: on that claim and I think the doublewalled construction serves better as insulation.

Though, there is real power gains in the V2 over the regular, but I think this could easily be attributed to the larger filter and the reduced heatsoak.

If you follow the link in her sig, it will lead you to a store where you can buy one.

Just find the email addys of about... 15 stores? Email them each individually and ask for a price quote for an AEM V2 intake for your car, and ask them to give you the shipped price (Give them your zip code, of course). If you're looking to get multiple things, ask them if they're cut you a deal if you also get these other items from them.

I saved myself $300 on my header/exhaust combo through this method, and I made contact with a great store too.

Good luck reading that. I was at a party that lasted until 7AM last night/this morning
