Try searching the Integra forum for some all-motor posts.

Bottom line: There's no reason to rev that high unless your cams make peak power near that RPM. JUN Stage 3/Skunk Stage2 cams both make peak power in that range. To be able to use these cams effectively and rev that high without bending a valve, you'll need to upgrade the valvetrain (springs/retainers).

How about you just forget the idea of revving to 9200? Honestly. Why would you want to with a stock motor, or any motor that's your daily driver for that matter? Lose that idea, and just do your boring, and upgrading, then shift at the near stock redline. How 'bout that. Don't insult the integrity of the people on this forum just because you have stupid ideas and people will let you know.

For one thing. I'm a lot smarter, and a lot bigger than you, so you'd be wise to not call people like myself dumb, and little. I won't even address the "faget" comment. You can't even spell it, that says enough about you. Another thing. Spelling lessons might take you far, if you can be helped at all.

I gave you some simple suggestions, which can also be called opinions, and then I simply told you not to insult the forum members. It's not their fault that you want to do something stupid. If anything they're trying to help you to not destroy this engine like I hear you destroyed your last one. You asked my opinion, and everyone else's opinion by posting this thread. I gave my opinion. I don't act like anything worse than yourself, bud. I'm not the one rejecting people's input, suggestions, and opinions. Believe me. Trash on people's personal opinions, and you'll find yourself banned quicker that you'd believe. If you want to get banned, though. Save us the trouble and leave of your own accord. But for the time being. I'm done with your stupidity. Go ahead and rev your engine to pieces. Then you can take it over to my buddy's shop where you'll spend thousands of dollars rebuilding it. It's good that you had this idea. Mechanics want your money.

Dude....relax

Anyway, you really want to know why you shouldn't rev to 9200 RPM's? One thing for sure, your valves will be fuxored....retainer springs may go....you'll probably fry one of your pistons sooner or later.

It's like this....imagine that you're only capable of running a mile at 6 minutes, yet your coach pushes you to run it at 5 minutes all the time....you'll probably over exhaust yourself for the first few times...eventually you'll get better and can run it at 5 minutes with no problems since your body is used to it. Your car is a machine. It can't do that. It'll just give out.
