My car does the same thing when the coolant level gets low and I know there's a leak. I just need to find out where it's coming from...

I have never seen it drip on to the ground and its a new radiator (well less than 2 yrs old). I will change the cap, the seal was not flat when i removed it (looked warped) and also I smell coolant sometimes when I park the car. We shall see.
