No real reason. There is a little more to piston selection than strict tolerances between each piston, though.

Understood, there are many things to consider. If desired, a machine shop can balance them for you anyway. I was just wondering if there is anything major that Wiseco offers which your setup would benefit from.

There is a great comparison article over on http://www.importbuilders.com/ but it seems to be down right now.

I do remember Jeff at Importbuilders praising the Wisecos in that article you are thinking of. That is why he sells only Wiseco.

He does have a little influence on my decision.

I am sticking with the Wiseco. h:

You will get pics of new parts when something actually interesting comes in. Unless you want pictures of 880cc injectors, an oil line kit, resistor box, and miscellaneous OEM parts for the block, I have no picture updates.

The manifold, turbo, and downpipe should be in next week, hopefully. That will be picture worthy.

Well, pictures were promised around this time, so here is an update.

I haven't posted pictures of my 3" exhaust yet, so here are some pictures of it. It sounds a lot like a boxer motor at low rpms with this exhaust and mean as hell when I get on it.

The "muffler"

Compared to the 60mm Greddy Evo

A view from under the rear LCA where it dumps

Here are the goodies I got today: GT3255E with ceramic coated housings

All the other goodies: 38mm wastegate, 3" dp, dumptube, and SLS shorty manifold

Nice CNC flange. Quality manifold work here.

Redshiftmotorsports makes it. They call it the LCA exhaust and it is available in 2.25", 2.5", and 3". On an N/A application, I can only imagine how obnoxious it would be in the cabin since it dumps under the car.

So I take it this doesn't interfere with your suspension like running it to the back, right?
