just because they're knock off's doesnt mean they're absolute crap. blox has a good reputation despite being knockoffs. for all we know they could be made in the same factory as skunk2 stuff.

alright so im getting the oem jdm type r pistons so i should go with the buddy club cams? which model though? i will need new valve and retainers right thans

Buddy club spec 3's are for street use and you can keep your stock valve springs and retainers. Spec 4 are street and track use and will require you to changes valve springs and retainers. I would go with the spec 3's and upgrade to the buddy club titanium valvesprings and retainers anyway. they are lighter and stronger than stock and if you every wanted to upgrade to Spec 4 later all you will need is the Cams!!

i think i wana run the spec 4? i can run these daily right? will i need ne head work done to run these cams? i know i need the retainers and valve springs ne thing else need to be done to run these.

get the oem pistons. spoon isnt any better. spoon basically buy's huge quantities of oem pistons, then sorts the closest weights into sets. not worth the extra $100-200.

that will depend on vehicle weight, tires, tire pressure, tire size, driver skill. basically too many variables to give a concrete answer.

snoopy is right, with all those variables one week you could run 14's the next week you could be 12's (just an example). it all depends!!
