Default Whats wrong?

Since Monday, my car has been acting up when i left work. Ok this is what happens. Im driving, doesnt matter what gear its on, when all of a sudden it starts losing power and the rpms drop. Then after it drops like 2k rpm it yanks again and regains the power. Then again it drops rpms and after like 2-3 seconds, it yanks again and regains it... It only does this for like the first 3-4 minutes of driving and then it runs normal.... anybody know what this might be? Thanks.

Possibly a vacuum leak, failing fuel filter or even look to see if the pcv is failing.

Well in a few days im going to do a tune-up. I already have spark plugs, fuel filter, pcv valve, distributor rotor, and distributor cap... Hopefully its something as simple as that... plus like 2 weeks ago i used the injector cleaner...

check your idle air control valve and circuit this is a common problem especially just after start up or even idling also check for DTCs that should be your first step in your diagnostics

Diagnostic trouble codes, also known as check engine light codes.

DTC's!

Do you see the check engine light illuminate then turn off when you turn the key to OnII? If so, I wouldn't personally bother with checking for DTC's.

Your problem sounds like an issue with the fuel supply system to me, from what you describe. Check the fuel pressure and to see if it's within spec.
