Whats wrong?
haha, that was pretty funny.... Well this is what im gonna do after all the opinions i got... Tomorrow im gonna change my fuel filter and pcv valve... then im gonna 1)Look for a vacuum leak 2)Check Idle Air Control Valve & Circuit 3)Check fuel pressure and see if its within spec. 4)Test the ignitor 5)and finally, i will end up finding out if its my fuel pump or distributor.
Perhaps.... at some point in the not-too-distant future, we could return to the original topic.

Alright, well i just got back from the shop and i got my fuel filter replaced as well as my pcv valve... It sounded like the pcv was still good cause it was still ticking when i shook it. But ehh, at least i wont have trouble with that later.... well he ran the DTC and got two codes..... one was my catalytic converter and the other was for the fuel pump.... i doubt this problem has anything to do w/ the cat, so im assuming its my fuel pump... so then he checked my fuel pressure and said that everything was ok and in spec. So we took it for a test drive to see if it would do it and it didnt, i think it didnt do it casue my car was still warm. He told me all my sensors were ok and it was running smoothly... so i left my car at the shop so he can check it tomorrow morning when its cold and hope that it does it so he can make sure its the fuel pump (cause thats the code that was being thrown out).... i also wanted to say that my check engine light wasnt going on because he told me that the previous owner or someone took out the light bulb for the CEL.... im like WTF..... shit....
so yea, we'll see what happens...

well i plugged a code reader and it said i got two codes... but both codes read P1457.... does this code sound right with the problem my car is giving me? Its something about evap leak or something idk.... but i dont know if this would cause my car to do what its doing... anybody have any ideas?
I asked if you can see the check engine light illuminate (check my second post in this thread), so you can verify that the light was even coming on.
P1457 is "Evaporative emission control system leak detected". (Evap control canister area)
The evaporative emission controls are designed to minimize the amount of fuel vapor escaping to the atmosphere. The system consists of the following components:
EVAP Control Canister
Vapor Purge Control System
Fuel Tank Vapor Control System
Probable causes:
Vacuum connection
EVAP control canister
Fuel tank pressure sensor
EVAP bypass solenoid valve
EVAP two way valve
EVAP control canister vent shut valve
Fuel tank
EVAP purge control solenoid valve
If this DTC holds true, the mechanic at the shop should check to see if the EVAP three way valve holds vacuum. To my knowledge OBD1 Integra’s had problems with emissions output, I believe there was some sort of extended warranty on this.

Does this still apply eight years later? :dunno:
The only symptom I can associate with a faulty EVAP is hard starting.

My CEL wasnt going on.... it doesnt go on.... check my second to last post... one mechanic i took it to told me that the light doesnt come on because someone took it out... so thats why i said it didnt.... but when i plugged the OBD reader it threw out two codes.. both being p1457 but i wouldnt know how this would be creating the problem w/ my car.. i dont think this is creating the problem w/ my car... i just think its something esle thats wrong.... damn, why the hell is this happening to me!!!!!!???
