I asked if you can see the check engine light illuminate (check my second post in this thread), so you can verify that the light was even coming on.
P1457 is "Evaporative emission control system leak detected". (Evap control canister area)
The evaporative emission controls are designed to minimize the amount of fuel vapor escaping to the atmosphere. The system consists of the following components:
EVAP Control Canister
Vapor Purge Control System
Fuel Tank Vapor Control System
Probable causes:
Vacuum connection
EVAP control canister
Fuel tank pressure sensor
EVAP bypass solenoid valve
EVAP two way valve
EVAP control canister vent shut valve
Fuel tank
EVAP purge control solenoid valve
If this DTC holds true, the mechanic at the shop should check to see if the EVAP three way valve holds vacuum. To my knowledge OBD1 Integra’s had problems with emissions output, I believe there was some sort of extended warranty on this.

Does this still apply eight years later? :dunno:
The only symptom I can associate with a faulty EVAP is hard starting.
