Im referring to boosting a high compression engine.
Your right with that ^ above though.

So it was a GSR with a swapped B18C5 USDM Type R engine witha Type R front correct? I assume the fron is JDM Integra?

Finnaly someone got it yes, for the last time guys, it is an GSR frame, with an B18C5 Swapped engine/W an JDM Front End. right now i am waiting for some Skunk2 parts, Sparco Seats, Drifter Body Kit, and an TenzoR CF Spoiler. its been a week still no parts at the door, once i install all the parts with my uncles help and paint it, Have no clue which color to go for, then hopefully some time in July-August ill post some pics.

The GSR is not really a high compression engine (I am thinking 11:1 and higher). The octane of the fuel that is run becomes the limiting factor, so a higher compression motor has to run more timing retard at the same boost level and fuel octane as a lower compression motor, but it will make more power as long as it isn't detonating.

Not so familiar with the compression on the motor, i will ask my uncle that, hes been racing honda's and acura's before i could even say VTEC. i know a lot myself, but not as much as he does, just recently checked out the engine with his Diagnostic comp. and it turned out a sensor was missing, do not know which one yet, but he assumes the guy who swapped in the engine probalby forgot to put it in.

Also, does any one know where i can get some better axles, and which suspension you guys think is the best, cause i want the car to handle at its best, im happy with the stock suspension but prefer to upgrade.

If it is in fact a B18C5, the compression ratio will be 10.6:1.

Unless your axles are clunking or vibrating, I would leave them. Many drag racers are pushing major power through stock axles. You aren't pushing much power now, so there isn't really a reason to upgrade.

In terms of suspension, Koni Yellows are some of the best shocks out there for the money. The spring depends on if you want a coilover setup, or just a basic spring. I have a set of Koni Yellow/Ground Control coilovers with a custom spring rate going in this weekend, so I can give you some feedback when that happens. Pretty much everyone I talk to prefers the Koni Yellow/GC setup because the price and performance is the best out there and the spring rates can be customized to meet your needs.

Thanks for the info man and big ups for the work you have done to your gsr realy nice, i appreciate any help i can get, couple of my tuner friends have Tein coilovers, and a while ago i got to drive my friends Prelude Si that had basic Tein coilovers, and they where preety nice when driving slow and at high speeds, and note that here in St.Louis we dont have the finest roads in the country, and was suprised that i hardly felt any bumps while driving it through the city, thats why i assumed to go with Tein, but i also would love to attend some Rally races that they have 2 or 3 times a month at Gateway Raceway, what do you think are better for track and rally type of events, Koni or Tein.

Unless you shell out the cash for a very beefy Tein setup, the Koni's will outperform them.

If you can't feel the bumps, you won't get much competitive performance out of them.

Thanks man, guess i'll go with the Koni's then, also does it matter if i get Upper Ball Mounts or not, what are some of the advantages of having them on.

The upper mounts will allow more suspension travel with the Ground Control coilover setup. You will only need it if you decide to drop the car more than 2" since the shock will not have enough room to compress without bottoming out. With a mild drop, they are unnecessary.
