Ah but I respect that you have done everything yourself, including the tuning. What do you think can be improved so that you can get more gains, tuning wise?

I haven't touched the ignition maps whatsoever, so I know there is a lot more torque to be made, but that is where inproper tuning will blow up motors. Once I get all of my current issues fixed (ignition problems, valve seals, and fixing the downpipe), I will focus on a full tune.

Get me a set of slicks and a 1/4 mile track and then we can talk. That 1/8th mile BS just isn't turning me on.

You probably would...it would definitely have more power.

I would have sprung for a better setup, but since I live in a state where Nazis make the rules so the idiot people living here don't hurt themselves, I am restricted to what I have. If I had a smog hookup, it would be a totally different story.

I crossed the line separating legal and illegal a long time ago. The only thing is that when smog comes again (which it won't, because I am moving out of state), it would be really easy to make the setup smoggable again, whereas a fully built motor will not come close to passing smog.

What size turbo are you using again? Engine management?
