ACT vs Exedy
Buying a flywheel within a few days and ive been talking to some sponsers on which is a better flywheel.
Chromeolly is the way to go from what i hear BUT from some people i hear EXEDY Flywheel is better then ACTs Flywheel.
Exedy Racing Flywheel
and
ACT Streetlite 12.5
Im going with the ACT XTSS clutch........can i only use a act flywheel? i can use an exedy right?
Which flywheel do u think is better?

You can use whatever flywheel you want, but the ACT is probably better.

You'll be happy with the XTSS. It's a little harsh at first, but it grabs like a mother and very low on the pedal. Nice clutch choice.
Prepare to have your teeth rattled out. I had that only because of necessity. Making 457 whp / ~320 wtq required that I get it because I was destroying the XTSS quickly.
The R6 is very very harsh as it is an unsprung 6-puck disc. I daily drove my car, but if you don't HAVE to get that clutch, you really shouldn't. It's a fairly hard clutch to drive on a daily driver. :happysad:

I have 250whp around 170ftlbs of torque Which clutch that act makes do you reccomend. I would like to get the extreme pressure plate though because I am running turbo and I am going to build the engine with an lsvtec fully built in about 9 months.
The XT pressure plate is a must. If you look at the ACT site (www.advancedclutch.com) they list the torque parameters for each kit. I suggest you look there and get what you think will work for you now, and after future power is made - cause you know you won't stop here.
Don't overdo it. I think the SS will work just fine for your setup.
